What is Excavation, Construction & Demolition Waste (ECDW)?
The acronym ECDW refers for brevity to Excavation, Construction & Demolition Waste.
The purpose of ECDW waste management is to collect, process and reuse materials in various industrial sectors in order to protect the environment.
In Greece, according to statistical data, in 2018 the recycling of ECDW waste reached 49.7%, while the target set by the European Union for 2020 is 70%.
